Have you ever read a book that made your brain go a mile a minute?
I just did.
In fact, I couldn’t put it down at all! (It helps that I read it on my Kindle iPhone app.)
The book in question? Seeking Allah, Finding Jesus by Nabeel Qureshi. Or I should say, Dr Nabeel Qureshi. He’s quite the learned chap, I discovered.
It’s a controversial subject to read about, considering I live in Singapore, which has a large Muslim population and is surrounded by Muslim countries. However, it is one man’s journey of how he was on the hunt for the truth and found it in Jesus. It is his personal testimony.
I’m not an theologian. Just a person who loves Jesus and one who came to Him in an inexplicable way when I was 12. Nonetheless, I can fully appreciate how Nabeel came to this conclusion after studying the Bible, Quran, Hadith and a variety of historical texts. It was a very methodical approach, yet simultaneously wrought with the leading of the Holy Spirit.
It has certainly inspired me to be more purposeful in my pursuit of biblical knowledge.
