Admittedly it’s my first time at the National Day Parade (NDP) after a long while back in the 1980s when it used to be at the National Stadium. Back then, it was hot, humid and so very congested since we had to squeeze on wooden benches. Times have changed and now, we sit comfortably (more or less) on plastic chairs with a decent amount of back support.

I had the privilege of bringing our P5 kids to the National Education Show 3 (which is basically just an NDP rehearsal for schools and the members of the public) just this past Saturday.

We had to feed them (buns and a McChicken burger each) to ensure they wouldn’t go hungry as the day progressed. Continue reading →
