Thankfulness – be happy with what you’ve got.


In modern culture of complaints and “give me”s, it’s become somewhat of a rarity to be thankful for what you have. We’re always in search of what we perceive to be bigger, better and more advanced. We’re rarely satisfied, whether it’s with material things or with people.

Today, I’d like to take the opportunity to appreciate my working environment; specifically

  • Supportive colleagues
  • Opportunities to learn new skills and strengthen my character
  • Cheap & good food nearby

Your environment is what you make of it. If you trudge around all day looking listless because you hate your job, change it. If you can’t change your environment for various reasons, then change your perspective on your environment. It makes a world of difference.
