Hey friends!¬†Welcome to my little neck in the online woods where I ramble on about my passions. And, if you stick around for a while, you will discover that I’m interested in loads of things… I just love geeking out over new trends. I think I could possibly sum up my loves in one broad category – I just love learning. This innate curiosity is what propels me to travel and also to embrace the concepts of minimalism in an intentional effort to live meaningfully.

Since I was young, I’ve always needed a creative outlet to relieve the stress of school or work. I loved art and reading as a child and when computer technology started advancing and the internet rolled around, I started to mess with digital art, writing and web design quite naturally. Putting my content online has always been something I’ve done, at times in sporadic bursts and at other times more consistently. Whether it’s writing, art or photography. It’s just something I’ve always come back to. It isn’t my full time job, however, and I prefer it that way at the moment.

So what do I do for work, you may ask? I have a background in primary school education and enjoyed that for a good number of years, but I’ve since moved on and have been working for my church in what has been quite the rollercoaster ride full of challenges, intense learning and dare I say quite a lot of fun in the process! This is my way of making a difference in the world and it has been incredibly fulfilling.

I write on this site as frequently as I am able to (at the moment this seems to be once a week) and at times I may upload the occasional YouTube video. But I am most often found on Instagram scrolling through my endless feed of cat photos so hit me up there if you fancy a chat (@yujanet).

Welcome to my space where I talk about travel, lifestyle and living intentionally.
